During this Tuesday’s press conference, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer explained why he is so happy with Paul Pogba’s return to action.
Paul Pogba made his expected return against Watford last weekend, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer couldn’t be more thrilled about it.
The French midfielder is widely considered one of the best players in the world.
Paul suffered a terrible ankle injury that kept him away for more than 20 matches.
There were many rumors of Pogba refusing to actually play, but he was truly injured.
Now that he is back in action, his manager couldn’t be happier. The reality is that Manchester United will inevitably improve with Paul Pogba on their ranks.
This is a player who is still very coveted by most of the biggest clubs in the world.
Just recently, Juventus maintain their desire to bring him back to Turin for next season.
Zinedine Zidane also keeps his hopes of bringing him to Real Madrid. But Pogba must finish this season with the Red Devils.
Solskjaer’s welcome back message to Paul.
Ahead of Manchester United’s upcoming Boxing Day match against Newcastle United, Solskjaer wanted to welcome Paul.
The French midfielder couldn’t avoid his side’s defeat against Watford last weekend, but he is finally back in action.
This is what counts the most for Ole.
“He can play anywhere. He can play the holding midfield, he’s a box-to-box midfielder. He can drop deep, get it, play them long passes, he can get higher up and combine, one-twos,” said the Norwegian via Sky Sports.
“That’s the beauty of having Paul because he is the best all-round midfielder in the world. He can do all roles, but if I play him low he should have played high and if I play him high I should have played low.
“There’s always going to be that discussion with him. It’s great to have him back.”
