Anthony Martial has the ability to score headline-grabbing goals but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants him to keep things simple.
Martial joined Manchester United in the summer of 2015 but it is only now that he is beginning to show his true potential.
The Frenchman has hit the back of the net 23 times in all competitions, leading the charge alongside Marcus Rashford. His goals have been important and spectacular.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been happy with his performances but wants a simple tweak. He wants Martial to keep the audacious with him but also ensure he starts scoring more simple goals.
“Definitely. Anthony has made huge strides this season in many aspects of his game,” the Norwegian was quoted by the Guardian.
“I like him scoring, him being in between the posts, scoring the simple goals – we know he can do worldies, like he’s done a few times.”
“He’s in the gym a lot working on his fitness and strength. The staff have done a fantastic job with him. Physically, he is at the best level of his career and I’m just looking forward to seeing him improve. There’s more to come from him.”
Solskjaer would want Martial to keep his fine form as United look to end the season on a high. They are still involved in the Europa League and can lift the trophy.
