Spartak drops two players for liking an Instagram post

Captain Denis Glushakov and defender Andre Yeshchenko won’t play in Austria against Rapid Vienna in the UEFA Europa League

Never has liking an Instagram post cost so much to a football player.

Russian Premier League club Spartak Moscow has dropped two players for liking a post on Instagram.

In the video, Russian actor Dmitry Nazarov was mocking Spartak coach Massimo Carrera, First Post informed.

Rhyming, Nazarov said “Carrera isn’t our happiness” and wonders “how many disgraces do we need before our gratefulness runs out?”

Carrera won the Russian Premier League title with the club in 2017, but this year is already five points behind leader Zenit Saint Petersburg.

And according to the publication, Spartak’s captain Denis Glushakov and defender Andre Yushchenko have been dropped out of the team.

The club informed both didn’t travel to Austria for the UEFA Europa League match.
