Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson this summer, reports France Football
Head coach Mauricio Pochettino has received assurances from the board that he will receive funds in order to further strengthen his squad ahead of next season with Spurs set to debut their new stadium.
The future’s of Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld and Moussa Dembele remain doubtful for the London club and Pochettino is likely going to have to begin looking at potential replacements.
Both Rose and Alderweireld have been linked with moves to Manchester United, while Dembele has reportedly received offers from China and Italy.
In light of this, Pochettino has now set his sights on Sanson and he has made the signing of the 23-year-old to be one of his top priorities in the upcoming transfer window.
Sanson is a versatile midfielder, who can play either in front of the defence or just behind a striker, and is understood to have attracted interest from the Premier League in the past.
Sanson scored nine goals and provided two assists for Marseille in his 25 starts in Ligue 1 this season.
