Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most famous professional footballers of today who set records while playing for Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus clubs.

Besides his astonishing club career, he represented Portugal’s national team as a captain for many years and led them to victory in the European Championship in 2016. Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro won the award for player of the year Ballon d’Or five times, which puts him on the list of the top footballers ever.

Start of the career

CR7 started his professional football career at the Sporting Lisbon Portuguese club, and thanks to his amazing plays, he ended up on every major team’s radar. By that time, many sports betting enthusiasts enjoyed placing various bets on Cristiano Ronaldo’s play. Even the casino game lovers who play at the top 20 UK casinos enjoyed the thrill of betting on CR7 while taking a break from gaming at the best casino sites. In other words he really shook the football scene at its core.

In 2001 at the age of 16, he signed for Manchester United with a record fee of 13 million dollars for his age. In 2004, he proved that he is a world-class player by helping his team achieve an FA Cup victory when he scored three goals and made his first hat-trick.

The best years of the career

In 2007, Ronaldo signed a five-year contract for 32 million dollars. A year later, he managed to score 42 goals to justify his salary and made that season one of the finest in the club’s history. He won the FIFA World Player of the Year in 2008 and helped Manchester United to claim three Premier League titles.

Later in 2009, Ronaldo’s commitment to Manchester United came under question when the club received the offer of 131 million dollars from Real Madrid to sign him. There were rumours that he wanted to play somewhere else, so it is no surprise that he signed for Real.

During his time with Real Madrid, Ronaldo made the biggest achievements of his career by winning the European Championship, Champions League and Club World Cup. He won the fifth Ballon d’Or in 2016 and tied the record with Lionel Messi, his biggest rival.

Late career

There were rumours that Cristiano Ronaldo’s time with Real was coming to an end when the club received the offer of 140 million dollars from Juventus in 2018. Even though he spent his best years in Real, he decided to accept the Juventus offer and continue his career in Italian Serie A.

His debut at Juventus was successful, as he managed to score 10 goals in the first 14 games. Juventus was lucky to have him on their side as he brought the Old Lady big rewards. One is Serie A titles,  and there were even two Supercoppe Italiana, and a single Coppa Italia.

After his great performance in the Serie A, he decided to return to Manchester United in 2021. The fans welcomed him with open hands and made a big celebration for returning to his former club. Today, he is still a member of Manchester United, however, there are speculations that he might be looking to join another club.

Personal life

Cristiano Ronaldo had affairs with many women throughout his career. The star became a father at the age of 25 when his first son Cristiano Jr was born in June 2010. He never revealed the identity of the biological mother of his first child.

However, Cristiano Jr is a major figure in CR7 life, and he often appears at the award ceremonies by his father’s side. The dream of Cristiano Jr is to become a great footballer and break his father’s and other world-class players’ records.

Back in 2016, Ronaldo started dating the Spanish model Georgina Rodriguez. A year later, in the summer of 2017, they welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, with the help of a surrogate mother.

Following the birth of his twins, Ronaldo and Georgina welcomed the fourth member of their family. Georgina gave birth to a girl in the autumn of 2017.

CR7 lifestyle and funny moments

One of his greatest hobbies is acquiring cars. He owns many cars like Lamborghini Aventador, Maserati, Bentley, Porsche, and Mercedes and enjoys driving around.

Besides that, he owns many luxury houses in different parts of the world. Ronaldo is a family man and enjoys spending his free time on a family vacation at some of his houses.

Cristiano Ronaldo once managed to trick Madrid locals by dressing like a homeless man on the streets. Despite his world-class football skills, most of his fans ignored him since he looked like a homeless man. They regret their action today, and you can look for the video of the action on Youtube.

You will find that many footballers have tattoos, however, Ronaldo is one of the few sportsmen without any. That is because he regularly donates blood, and he recently became a bone marrow donor.
