Daniel Sturridge has been sidelined for the last two months due to sustaining a hamstring injury during the game with Chelsea on February 12. He is now doing everything he can in order to join his current team for their clash with Manchester United on Sunday.

Despite the fact that he is reportedly coming closer and closer to his full recover, he is still a doubt for the weekend game. If he was to pass fitness tests, he would still most likely be benched and would not be a part of the starting squad, according to Express & Star.

He was loaned from Liverpool to West Brom back in January – a deal that was looked forward to by Albion’s management.

However, it has turned into a disaster – he has played a total of 77 minutes and has not scored a single goal. For this feat, the Baggies have paid 1.5 million pounds, or 120 grand per week, or almost 20 thousand per a minute of playtime.
