Chelsea step up Nick Pope chase

Chelsea are intensifying their efforts to sign Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope as Frank Lampard continues his search for a Kepa replacement. The Blues’ boss has reportedly lost faith in the Spanish goalkeeper and would even consider selling him off this summer. Nick Pope won’t come ‘cheap’ but an offer of €50m should tempt Burnley to sell the 28-year-old. (Star Sunday)

Zlatan could continue with Milan next season

Veteran forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been nothing short of inspirational since he re-joined Milan in January. His goal against Cagliari on Saturday night was his 10th league goal of the season in only 18 appearances. However, the big Swede’s contract runs out at the end of the season with speculation surrounding his future. Regardless of everything, Milan sporting director Pablo Maldini sees the 38-year-old at the club next season.  (ESPN)

Man United set asking price for Alexis Sanchez

The Chilean has started to show some promise for Inter Milan of late. A couple of goals, assists and fine outings in recent outings are convincing the San Siro outfit to sign Sanchez permanently. Juve could propose Bernardeschi-Smalling swap deal

A woeful defensive showing this season has seen the Bianconeri in search of defensive names ahead of the summer. Chris Smalling impressed in defence on loan for Roma this term and could be one option for Maurizio Sarri. To save costs on a transfer fee, Juventus could offer Bernardeschi to parent club Man United in exchange for Smalling.  (Inside Futbol)
