Tah, on what it means to play with the senior and U21 Germany squads

The German footballer is playing for the senior and the U21 squads, and he says he has to focus on the future.

23-year-old German defender Jonathan Tah has been selected for two national team squads.

He was called by Joachim Low for the Germany senior national team.

And he will also play in the U21 EURO with Die Nationalmannschaft under coach Marcus Sorg’s orders.

“At the moment, I’m here 100 percent, and am really happy to be back,” he told his nation’s official website.

“Obviously, the U21 Euros are something I have in the back of my mind. But, we have a task to accomplish here, which I’m entirely focused on.”

He also commented about interim coach Marcus Sorg: “It’s an unusual situation for him as well.”

“He has known the players for a long time, especially the youngsters, and is very meticulous, something he brings to training as well.”

And Bayern teammate Kai Havertz: “I hope that he continues to work on himself, the way he has up to now.”

“He reached the top level early on, quickly became a starter, and made his way into the national team.”

“It’s important that he doesn’t let himself be influenced by what’s happening around him and that he knows what he has to work on,” the player concluded.
