Conte’s Inter can be stopped

This is the first time after 19 fixtures that Conte’s team has failed to hit the back of net. And Roma seems to have found the blueprint. Hurry the midfield and there will not be much that Inter will be able to do.

However, the Nerazzurri should have taken the lead through various chances either side of the break. Romelu Lukaku should have given the hosts the lead. Veccino and Martinez had chances after restart but the South American duo could not get on the score sheet.

While Lukaku with his bulging frame took on the defenders, Martinez struggled upfront. The Argentine was dispossessed far too easily, and his wayward passes were easily picked off by the opposition.
