Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of Percy Tau, according to The South African.
The South African player has finally joined the English club after months of constant speculation over his future.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns star jetted out to the UK for a medical on Friday before being unveiled as the latest addition to the playing squad of the Seagulls.
The deal is expected to be around R50 million, according to reports though there has been no confirmation from both teams as to the agreed fee.
South African club side Sundowns confirmed the player’s departure when they tweeted a farewell message to the player on their Twitter account.
Tau starred for the Pretoria-based club last campaign leading them to the PSL title for a record eight time in their history.
Percy Tau becomes the second player from Africa to sign for Brighton & Hove Albion this summer after they completed the signing of Nigerian defender Leon Balogun on a free before the start of the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
