The La Liga president believes Brazilian superstar is stuck at Paris Saint-Germain unless he lowers his salary to move to a new team.
The Neymar Junior saga has lasted even after the summer transfer window has closed in Europe.
The Paris Saint-Germain footballer wanted to return to Barcelona, but there was even talk of him joining teams like Real Madrid.
And today, Spanish La Liga president Javier Tebas has given his opinion on the topic.
“The problem of not coming back now [to Barcelona] has to do with his own departure to PSG,” Tebas was quoted by The Bleacher Report.
“It was an off-market transfer, it was only possible to happen with ‘traps’ to increase sponsorships.”
“When you do it out of the market, it is impossible to sell again at this price,” he added.
“In view of the market, Neymar will retire at PSG unless he lowers his salary and also his PSG claims.”
