Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has some great memories in his career so far, but the Barcelona goalkeeper has one very favorite.

Barcelona’s number one is arguably one of the top shot-stoppers in the world right now.

He has lifted 14 trophies since his arrival at the Camp Nou in 2014. He has also been part of the Germany team that lifted the Confederations Cup in 2017.

To date, he has racked up 423 appearances for Barcelona, and kept an impressive 171 clean sheets. He has been involved in some amazing games.

In an interview reported by Sport, he admits winning is something he truly loves. The German has enjoyed some of the crunch matches he has been involved in like the Clasicos most of all.

However, there is one match, one victory, and one trophy that stands above everything else.

He said:

“My first game as a professional was one of the best games I’ve had.”

“It was incredible because you start a career in the professional league and it’s a unique moment, like playing in the Clasico.”

“Without a doubt when you win you have the best feeling.”

“In my case, my best moment was when we won the 2015 Champions League in Berlin.”

“Until now, that’s the best moment I’ve lived through in football.”

“In general I always enjoy being on the pitch.”
