Marc-Andre ter Stegen says he feels at home at Barcelona but is in no hurry to pen down a new contract with the club.

Barcelona shot-stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is not too concerned about his future and is keeping his focus on the task at hand.

The German arrived at Camp Nou from Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer of 2014. Since then, he has enjoyed huge success while nailing down his position as the first choice keeper for Barca.

Ter Stegen’s current contract keeps him at Barcelona until 2022.

And the 27-year old feels there is ample time to discuss fresh terms to extend his stay with the Spanish champions.

“I have two years left on my contract,” Ter Stegen told Mundo Deportivo.

“My family and I are very happy here, we are at home. The intention is to continue. At the moment there are conversations. But loose ones because there is no hurry on my part. I am very focused on my work. We have some very tough weeks ahead and we want to win.

“I leave the whole contract subject to my agent, who is the one who is dedicated to it and who informs me of everything.”
