According to research by Corriere Della Sera, the goals scored by the Polish striker outweigh anything the Portuguese has done so far in the league.
Cristiano Ronaldo joined Italian Serie A giants Juventus for 100 million Euro.
Meanwhile, Polish striker Krzysztof Piatek was bought by Genoa for only 4 million.
And for the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera, the goals by Krzystof are more important.
The Polish attacker has scored 13 goals, one less than Ronaldo this season.”
The best buy is not Cristiano Ronaldo but Krzysztof Piatek,” wrote the newspaper.
“The goals are counted but they are all equal only in fantasy football. In reality, each of them has a different weight in terms of points won.”
“The Genoa striker was a real deal for Preziosi, who signed him for only 4 million euros and Piatek has immediately shown his qualities, scoring 13 goals, only one less than Ronaldo, who cost 100 million,” they added.
“If this was not enough, his goals have much higher importance for Genoa than Ronaldo’s for Juventus.”
“The 13 goals of the Polish striker have guaranteed the Rossoblu 10 of the total 20 points in the standings,” they concluded.
