We give you all the details about the fight for the Serie A top scorer until the end of the season, four players will try to win the contest.

The Italian Serie A is currently three fixtures away from the end of the season, this puts the top scorer race a lot more interesting.

We have a total of four different players from four different squads that are fighting to finish the season at the very top of the table.

We are going to tell you all about the names who will compete for this individual trophy and who are the ones with the best opportunity to win the contest.

Out of the four players who are currently trying to win the prize, we have veteran Fabio Quagliarella as the striker who is currently at the very top of the table with 25 goals.

The Sampdoria forward keeps surprising the world of football with his performance this season at the age of 36 years old, he is the one leading the charge until the end of the season.

Fabio is the player who has the easiest road ahead, he is the one with the bigger chance of finishing the season at the very top.

The next two matches Sampdoria has to play appear as easy targets for the in-form player.

Quagliarella plays against Empoli on Sunday, a club that is still in the fight to avoid relegation to Serie B.

This match won’t be as easy as it looks only because of how much the opponent has at stake.

Fabio Quagliaarella’s biggest rivals.

Quagliarella’s Sampdoria will have to visit the already relegated Chievo a week after playing Empoli, this should be a perfect chance for Fabio to score at least a couple more goals.

Last but not least, Quagliarella will have to play Sampdoria’s final match against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus in a very interesting fixture.

Next on the goal scoring table is Colombian striker Duvan Zapata, the Atalanta forward wants to make history by becoming the first Colombian player to win the Serie A top scorer award this season.

With 22 goals to his count according to WhoScored, Zapata is only three away from Cuagliarella and his matches won’t be easy to play.

Atalanta has to play against Genoa this weekend at home, they will visit Ronaldo’s Juventus a week later.

And finally, Zapata will receive Sassuolo on the last Serie A fixture this season for Atalanta.

Next in line, we have both Cristiano Ronaldo and Krzysztof Piatek tied with 21 goals each.

The AC Milan player will have to visit Fiorentina this weekend, he plays Frosinone at home one week later.

And he will finally try to end the season at SPAL’s stadium, the Polish striker has a difficult road ahead but nobody has it harder than Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is after Serie A glory on his final three matches.

Out of all the strikers who are fighting for the Capponannoniere title this season, Cristiano Ronaldo is hands down the one who has the most difficult road ahead.

The Portuguese forward has two direct contests against two of the strikers that we previously mentioned, plus a match against one of Serie A’s Top Six squads.

Juventus begins the attempt to get Ronaldo that individual award at Stadio Olimpico in Rome, they will play against AS Roma.

The next possible victim for Cristiano Ronaldo will be Duvan Zapata’s Atalanta, this will be an exciting contest for the Portuguese forward.

But the last match of the season for Juventus has the potential to become the most exciting one for Ronaldo.

The Old Lady plays the last fixture of the season against Fabio Quagliarella’s Sampdoria.

Ronaldo needs to score at least four more goals and the Samp striker can’t score any more in order to grant us a more exciting match.

This is wishful thinking but we seriously hope that Ronaldo gets a chance to win this individual accolade on his first season at Juventus, the Portuguese forward deserves it.

Manager Massimiliano Allegri already stated that he will do everything in his power to help Ronaldo win this award.
