CR7 has hit out at the many ‘lies’ said about him this summer and vowed to set the record straight over the speculation.

Cristiano Ronaldo has said he will do an interview in the coming weeks to tell the truth about his situation.

The Manchester United frontman has endured another summer of constant speculation about his future. Reports claim he wants to leave Old Trafford for a Champions League club. This has fueled many rumors over the last few months, linking him with clubs all over the world.

His friend and journalist Edu Aguirre, in fact, has said Atletico Madrid are interested in Ronaldo. But the Real Madrid legend is unlikely to join Diego Simeone’s side and is angry with the media’s reporting of his situation.

Replying to a post on Instagram, Ronaldo commented: “They know the truth when they interview in a couple [of] weeks.

“The media is telling lies. I have a notebook and in the last few months of the 100 news I made, only 5 were right. Imagine how it is.

“Stick with that tip.”

Ronaldo and United return to action next Monday for a Premier League match against Liverpool at Old Trafford.
