Luka Jovic is a rising talent for German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt that has had a spectacular 2018-2019 season.
The 21-year-old has scored 36 goals in 75 competitive matches for his team.
And today he spoke to the Bundesliga.com website to talk about his season and how he wants team success before personal success.
“The most important thing is the team had a good season,” Jovic said.
“I’ve never doubted my quality.”
“We pretty much play the same way and I always wanted to be like him,” he explained.
“[Bayern Munich’s manager Niko Kovac] He’s a coach who changed my career. A man who showed me the right path.”
“I’m happy I got to work with him,” he said.
“I only played a couple of minutes at the World Cup but it was a really good motivation for me for last season.”
Luka Jovic debuted professionally in 2014 with Red Star Belgrade in his native Serbia.
He then moved in 2016 to Portugal’s Benfica, to be loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Bundesliga in 2017.
And this year the German club has been bought definitely by the Bundesliga side.
