There are some footballers who their respective countries will be glad to see fit and available for the Euro 2021.

The delay of the Euro’s by one year is not doom and gloom for everyone.

There are those who were scheduled to miss out because of injury, and now they are going to get a second chance.

Italy’s Nicolo Zaniolo is expected to be out until the end of August with cruciate knee ligament damage.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is a certainty for Roberto Mancini’s roster if he is fit.

How about former United man Memphis Depay. The Lyon winger was another one with a serious knee injury. His return date would have been an excruciatingly close July 1st.

Now with 2021 still over a year away he has plenty of time to be ready for Ronald Koeman’s Netherlands side.

One of the tournament favorites Belgium were all set to be missing their talisman, Eden Hazard.

The former Chelsea man has been a mere shadow of his former self since he moved to Real Madrid. But when he dons the national team shirt, he always finds his best form.

Hazard may have made it, he may have not. The forward is recovering from a fracture to his Fibula.

Now Roberto Martinez can count on him.

We could possibly add to the list Ousmane Dembele and Paul Pogba.

Given Dembele’s inconsistent form at best, it remains to be seen if Didier Deschamps would have selected him.

However, now he has another year to recover from his latest hamstring injury and prove he can deliver on the biggest stage.

As for Pogba, he has only managed seven games all season.

Deschamps would have likely taken him match fit or not, given his potential for impact.

One thing is for sure they will all get another chance of making their respective teams.

Euro 2021 is not so bad for everyone!
