Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva admits that nobody that at the club is certain of how serious Neymar’s injury is

The Brazilian forward was withdrawn early into their 2-2 draw at Bordeaux with another apparent groin problem after scoring the opener.

PSG coach Thomas Tuchel has ruled Neymar out for their next league match away to Strasbourg with Silva uncertain as to how long Neymar will be sidelined.

“Neymar? We don’t know if it’s serious,” said Silva, according to Goal.

“But you know the guy, he doesn’t like to leave a game so if he does, there has to be something. I don’t know what he has.

“He has to undergo a test and then we’ll tell you because you’re curious. I think even the doctor isn’t sure yet, but you’ll know [Monday].”

Kylian Mbappe was the other goalscorer for PSG on Sunday as their 100% winning start to the Ligue 1 season came to an end.

Neymar has managed 14 goals and seven assists in 17 appearances for PSG this season.
