Manchester United to miss out on Champions League football yet again… according to bookmakers.

Coming off a forgettable season for the Manchester giants, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer stands a big task if he is to challenge for the Premiership this season.

Having sold their number 9 (Romelu Lukaku) to Inter Milan, United never replaced him.

However, with far more of an emphasis being needed to be placed on the club’s defence. The new boss did wisely invest in Harry Maguire (Leicester) and Aaron Wan-Bissaka (Crystal Palace) regardless of their price-tags.

Losing players such as Lukaku and Ander Herrera for a team lacking much depth in certain departments though, may be too much for the squad to handle.

If the team are to challenge or even accomplish the far more likely goal of qualifying for Champions League football. A clean bill of health will be needed, as well as some bigger performances from players like Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba, and Anthony Martial.
