Paris Saint-Germain are willing sell the troublesome star this summer and Thomas Tuchel will also not be sad to see his back.
According to reports in France, Paris Saint-Germain coach, Thomas Tuchel will not have a problem if the club sells Neymar. Things have come to a collision course between the club and the player.
Neymar has been treated royally by the Parisians ever since he arrived from Barcelona a few years ago. The club’s owner, Nasser Al-Khelaifi isn’t a fan of the player’s attitude and has already hinted the players who show zero desire will be moved on.
“Players will have to assume their responsibilities more than ever before. They have to be completely different. They will have to do more work. They are not here to please themselves. If they do not agree, the doors are open. Ciao! I do not want to have any celebrity behaviour anymore,” Al-Khelaifi said earlier today.
Since the statement was covered by several media outlets, a lot has changed. PSG are now willing to sell Neymar to the highest bidder. Neymar seeks a fresh challenge and PSG are pretty much done with his childish behaviour.
Al-Khelaifi is definitely looking to a future without Neymar in it and it appears that Thomas Tuchel shares the belief. According to RTL, Thomas Tuchel has informed his bosses that he won’t be bothered by Neymar’s departure.
Indeed, the German tactician believes that he would rather have ten players with Marquinhos’ attitude rather than a huge star who wants to be treated like a king.
While there is no doubting Neymar’s talent, it is his attitude that frustrates Thomas Tuchel…a man not really known for his patience.
With three years left on his contract, PSG are in a commanding position anyway. Real Madrid are back in the market for the forward while Barcelona are always thinking about bringing him back.
Either way, selling Neymar could be the best thing that ever happens to PSG.
