Borussia Monchengladbach winger Thorgan Hazard confirmed that he will not be leaving during this month’s transfer window, but refused to rule anything out this summer

Since arriving Gladbach in 2014 from Chelsea, Hazard’s strong displays in the Bundesliga have made him one of most wanted players in Europe.

The Belgium international has managed nine goals and six assists in 17 league games this season and is contracted at Gladbach until June 2020.

But reports have recently linked Hazard with a return to the Premier League by joining Liverpool, while AS Roma and Atletico Madrid are also understood to be interested.

The 25-year-old, however, insists he will not be going anywhere this month after holding talks with Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl.

Frankfurt deny receiving any offers for Barca target Luka Jovic

Barcelona nor any other team have made any offers yet for Luka Jovic, says Eintracht Frankfurt supervisory board chairman Wolfgang Steubing.

“Max Eberl and I spoke before the winter break and I confirmed that the only important thing for me right now is that I can help our team here to be successful,” Hazard told the club website.

“Max knows that my head is here at Borussia and I am fully concentrated on my job here.

“I am not considering a transfer right now. I cannot say what will happen after the end of this season.

“I may possibly extend my contract as I’m very happy here and family are also settled. Max and I will speak about this when it is the right time.

Gladbach will take on Bayer Leverkusen at the BayArena for their first game back from the winter break on January 19.
