FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is preparing to pen down a new deal with the club. Expected to happen soon in the coming days, the two-year contract extension will see him pinned down to Camp Nou until 2023. Inter put forward demands for Martinez.

Inter Milan won’t sell Lautaro Martinez to FC Barcelona unless they get €85 million in cash plus Junior Firpo. Barcelona, however, intent to go only as high as €65 million.

Barca are desperate to sign Martinez as they look to add firepower to their squad. Inter are well aware of the Catalans’ yearning for the striker and hence are unwilling to lower their demands. [Sport]
