Celtic defender Kieran Tierney believes they now have a realistic chance of reaching the Europa League knock-out phrase
The Scottish champions secured a vital 2-1 win over RB Leipzig at Celtic Park on Thursday following goals from Tierney and Odsonne Edouard.
The result leaves Celtic tied with second-place Leipzig on six points with two games left, albeit behind on goal difference.
“We have given ourselves a fighting chance going into the last couple of games,” Tierney told Sky Sports.
“They are still favourites going into the last couple of games. It’s a fighting chance and that is all we can do now – just take it game by game.”
Celtic will travel to Norway to face Rosenberg BK on November 29 in their next Europa League fixture.
However, Brendon Rodgers’ side will now turn their focus to Sunday’s SPL game against Livingston.
