5. Niko Kranjcar
Niko Kranjcar is a former football player who played as an attacking midfielder. He started his career at Dinamo Zagreb in 2001 and spent five years at the club before moving to their biggest rivals Hajduk Split.
Kranjcar won the Croatian Prva HNL once with each Dinamo and Hajduk, establishing himself as one of the best footballers in the country.
He moved to the Premier League in the summer of 2006, signing for Harry Redknapp’s Portsmouth. They won the FA Cup in 2008 and moved to Tottenham – Harry in October 2008, while Niko one year later.

Kranjcar was a creative footballer who had a knack for scoring stunning goals from outside the penalty box. He reunited with Redknapp at QPR in 2013, helping the club to gain promotion in the Premier League.
The Croatian midfielder spent his final two seasons at Glasgow Rangers, before retiring in 2018.
