4. Mateo Kovacic

Mateo Kovacic is only 24 years old, but he has done so much in his career already. The midfielder scored on his professional debut in October 2010, becoming the youngest goalscorer in the history of the Croatian League, at the age of 16 years and 198 days.

In the 2011-12 season, the teenager rapidly established himself as a regular first-team player, guiding Dinamo to a domestic double.

He moved to Inter in January 2013, but the Nerazzurri were forced to sell him due to Financial Fair Play regulations in the summer of 2015.

Kovacic signed for Real Madrid in a €29 million transfer deal and began the greatest journey of his career. He won three successive Champions League titles at the Bernabeu, as well as the Spanish Championship in 2017.

The midfielder was a vital part of the Croatian national team which reached the 2018 FIFA World Cup Final in Russia. He is currently playing at Chelsea FC as a loaned player from Real Madrid.
