Roberto Firmino was the most expensive departure ever from the Bundesliga when he joined Liverpool in 2015.

The hope was that the striker could fill a void in their side and work out just as well as Luis Suarez did.

It took some time for that to happen, but it proved to be the case. Under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp, Firmino has become the best false nine in Europe.

66 goals in 191 games may not be an excellent record, but Liverpool do not regret spending a single penny on him, that’s for sure.
