Next up is a name a lot of you probably haven’t heard before in Eusebio Sacristan.
Eusebio is a former midfielder and last appeared in La Liga back in 2019 when coaching the relegated Girona. But while his coaching career hasn’t taken off, fans still remember him for the player he used to be.
After one season at Atletico Madrid, the 56-year-old became a critical component of Johan Cruyff’s mighty Barcelona midfield. He helped the Catalans win four La Liga titles in a row in the early 90s.
Eusebio also helped Barcelona win a first Champions League in 1992 and a won a further six trophies as well. He ended a fruitful period in 1995 and saw out the rest of his career at Celta Vigo and Real Valladolid.
The four-time La Liga winner returned to Camp Nou almost 16 years later to begin his coaching journey in charge of the Barca B team.
