But this Brazilian national team also boasted talented players like Carlos Alberto, Rivellino and Jairzinho.
Mario Zagallo, who won the World Cup twice as a player, led them to glory as a manager in 1970.
Incidentally, it was the Selecao’s third world title.
While Jairzinho struck the back of the net in every game and Pele scored a memorable header in the 4-1 victory over Italy in the final itself.
