The most expensive transfer in the history of football and one that blew Di Maria’s previous La Liga record out of the water.

Neymar’s move to Paris Saint Germain shook football and set a precedent for the considerable transfer spending that’s now the norm.

His time in Paris can best be described as mixed. While the stats are good, he’s got 51 goals in 58 games, the Brazilian has never looked happy there.

The fact he’s now being heavily linked with a return to La Liga, particularly Barcelona, shows this move is one he may regret.
