After a successful four-year run with Mallorca, it was time for Samuel Eto’o to take his next step and play for a bigger club.
The man didn’t hesitate when he knew that FC Barcelona wanted to sign him, this was his big opportunity to get that revenge he wanted against Real Madrid.
Samuel went on to make a spectacular career at the Catalan club for the next five seasons, he won three La Liga titles and two UEFA Champions League trophies.
Eto’o scored goals in the two continental finals he played, one against Arsenal and another one against Manchester United.
