The English FA has never felt compelled to use only players from their country in the past, they already had Sven Goran Eriksson coaching the squad back in 2006.
The Portuguese manager knows English players like very few other coaches do, he could actually take them to success.
In fact, this new generation of players are very talented and we bet Jose would love to have a chance at coaching them.
There is a good chance that Gareth Southgate doesn’t make it all the way to the World Cup in Qatar, which opens the opportunity for Mourinho to come in and get on the manager’s seat.
