After presenting himself to the world at Atletico Madrid, Liverpool FC decided to buy him in 2007.
Fernando Torres played with the Reds during four seasons under manager Rafael Benitez.
His first season at the club was by far his most prolific one and he kept a race for the golden shoe with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Spaniard didn’t win any collective or individual trophies that season, but he made a great impression amongst the Liverpool fans.
Torres left the Reds in 2011 without winning anything important.
