Japan will use Copa America to train for Olympics

The goal of the Nippon national team is to win the Olympic Games at home in 2020, as they prepare to play in the South American tournament.

Long after his highest level was passed, it was time for Ronaldinho Gaucho to make the effort to play the retirement years in his native Brazil and attempt what only his compatriot Cafu had done in football history.

Only the former AS Roma and AC Milan right-back had won all the trophies that a footballer can win on a collective level, but Ronaldinho went and did it when he lifted the Copa Libertadores with Atletico Mineiro back in 2013.

The Brazilian was instrumental in the squad’s victory against Paraguay’s Olimpia in the final, this turned Ronaldinho into the first ever Ballon d’Or recipient who won every possible trophy that a footballer can win both at a club and national team level.
