Ahead of the summer transfer window, it’s time to check out the five players that should call time on their Chelsea careers.
Frank Lampard’s first season as Chelsea manager has been a respectable one, if nothing spectacular. He’s recorded 21 wins and 13 defeats in 42 games across all competitions. It’s helped the club move into the Premier League top-four, secure a FA Cup quarter-final spot, and reach the Champions League knockout stages.
With FIFA’s transfer ban behind them, however, Chelsea seem intent on bringing in some new faces. They’ve already signed Ajax star Hakim Ziyech in a €40m deal for next season. While a few surprise rumoured targets have cropped up lately, notably Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
But signing new players often means the club must sell a few as to settle the bank balance.
So, without further ado, Ronaldo.com names the five footballers who will likely leave London this summer.
