Top 5 Premier League flops from summer 2018

5. Caglar Soyuncu (SC Freiburg to Leicester City for £19m)

Frank Lampard, Chelsea, Premier League, UEFA Champions League

Lampard is against extra Champions League matches

According to Chelsea's manager Frank Lampard, more group matches would increase the workload of the already-stressed players.

Leicester seemingly beat out competition from Arsenal to secure the signature of Soyuncu, but the 22-year-old hasn’t shown his worth this season. He joined the club with an existing injury (torn muscle fibre) but played only 5 Premier League games even after returning to fitness.

He has played only one in the past 10 games in the Premier League and wasn’t even in the matchday squad in seven of them.

Leicester City may have been robbed for £19m.
