In regards to trophies, perhaps Fernando Torres and Raul Gonzalez Blanco can have a claim to this title as the best striker in Spain’s history.
However, David Villa enjoyed several amazing years with Spain and FC Barcelona alike.
The forward shared the spotlight with Torres and he didn’t score goals in finals as ‘El Niño’ did, but he was still part of incredible squads that were always at the top of the game.
Raul was also part of a historic Real Madrid squad during his prime, but he never won a title with his nation.
We could say that Villa had the best of both worlds with his club and his country.
