2.- Emmanuel Adebayor
The Togo international was coming with a label of a potent striker who was having a few disciplinary problems in the Premier League. Jose Mourinho was in need of a striker who could help him fight for titles as a substitute.
But nobody imagined Adebayor would be the player he selected. Although he did score a few goals, he was never good enough to remain at Real Madrid. His dream playing for Los Blancos didn’t last for much longer. He eventually went back to England to play for Tottenham Hotspur.
