The final weekend of the Premier League season lived up to expectations as a superb season came to a close impressively.

Liverpool and Manchester City dueled it out for the title, with City’s win over Brighton and Hove Albion ensuring they are Premier League champions once again.

Brighton says they are not gambling with Potter

The English Premier League team says they have all the confidence on the work Potter can do with the team for the next season.

Elsewhere, Chelsea and Tottenham drew, Arsenal beat Burnley and Manchester United suffered defeat to Cardiff City at Old Trafford.

There were also big wins for West Ham and Crystal Palace while Southampton and Huddersfield played out a 1-1 draw. Here’s what we learned from the final Premier League games of the season:
