It may not be as big a prize as the Champions League top scorer, but that hasn’t stopped a battle for the Golden Boot in the Europa League.

At present, RB Salzburg’s Manus Dabbur leads the charts with his total of seven goals so far.

Alexandre Lacazette, Matteo Guendouzi, Arsenal, Premier League

Lacazette backs Guendouzi for success

The France international striker considers Guendouzi like a "younger brother" and he believes he will do great things in the future.

His lead is not a comfortable one, though. Luka Jovic, Wissam Ben Yedder and Olivier Giroud are all hot on his heels with six goals. Even teammate Sebastian Haller is chasing him with five.

All five of those players were on the score sheet in this week’s games. The battle for the Golden Boot is one that could go down to the wire.
