After a solid one year at Real Betis from Spain, it was clear that Giovani Lo Celso was made for a better club and England started taking notice of him.
His Copa America performance with Argentina completely convinced Mauricio Pochettino of his quality, he was one of only three transfers that the Spurs made this summer.
Despite not making too many purchases, this player has the potential to become one of the best in English football if he works well with Pochettino.
Lo Celso’s quality was good enough for him to play alongside Messi with the national team and not look like he was out of place.
