Just about everyone in Italy is keeping tabs on Sandro Tonali, who will likely leave Brescia this summer. Especially if the club suffers relegation from the Serie A. In fact, president Massimo Cellino has already given up on keeping him long-term.
Tonali would make a welcome addition for Inter, who signed another young midfielder in Nicolo Barella last summer. Although the 23-year-old will remain at Cagliari for another season on loan.
Nonetheless, Tonali probably won’t go out on loan. His strong form for the struggling Brescia has been impressive, even leading to comparisons with Italian legend Andrea Pirlo. These may be a little misguided, though.
Beating rivals Juventus to the teenager’s signature will only make the deal even sweeter.
