There are those that will tell you Neymar has not hit the heights his talent suggested he would. Those people would be wrong, and his record for Brazil is a testament to that.

While there have not been any trophies as yet, Neymar has regularly produced for Brazil since making his debut.

His 60 goals in 97 appearances mean he is second on the list of Brazil’s top goalscorers. But, he’s only two behind Ronaldo and 17 behind Pele.

Given Neymar is still only 27, he’ll be confident of overtaking those players before the end of his career. He’ll likewise fancy his chances of getting himself further up this list.
