Tottenham are keen on bringing a few key players to London this summer in contrast to the previous summer where no new face was bought.
Mauricio Pochettino is going to stay at Tottenham for the foreseeable future. And after a successful season in England and in Europe, Spurs are set to flex their muscles. A lot of targets have been identified and it appears that the Londoners are going to make a few waves in Europe.
Spurs chasing Lo Celso
Tottenham are eager to sign Argentine midfielder, Giovanni Lo Celso. The young midfielder is currently on the books of Real Betis in La Liga who are not going to settle for anything less than €100 million for their star. Already a bid believed in the region of €60 million has been rejected. However, Spurs are not giving up on the youngster.
Moreover, Betis are also looking at the profile of Rennes star, Benjamin Bourigeaud. The Frenchman has the same profile as Lo Celso which means that Betis are being realistic about their chances of holding on to the Argentine.
According to The Daily Star, Tottenham are keen on finalizing the deal for Tanguy Ndombele. The France international is a wanted man. After Spurs, Manchester United have also ignited their interest. Pochettino’s team is definitely in a race against time.
So far, no one has made any breakthrough which means that this particular move, if it happens, will take some time to happen.
Eriksen future up in the air
It is still not certain where Eriksen is going to play next summer. The Dane wants to leave the club but it appears that Real Madrid’s interest has died down. However, Manchester United are still interested but haven’t come up with any offer.
Nonetheless, Tottenham are looking to tackle this particular case quickly so that they can find a replacement.
