Henrikh Mkhitaryan joined Italian Lega Serie A side AS Roma this summer on a season-long loan from English Premier League club Arsenal.
And for Italian legend Francesco Totti, the Armenian footballer will certainly succeed at the team.
“Mkhitaryan can bring quality and quantity, so it’s a good move,” the 42-year-old told Sky Italia.
“He hasn’t always played regularly over the last two years at Arsenal, but I hope he can feel at home at Roma.”
Totti explained: “The fans will certainly appreciate him here, as he has great technique and is eager to prove himself.”
“Everything happened on the last day right after the Tottenham game I got a call from my agent.”
“He told me that I have to fly to Rome the next day to have a medical with the team and also sign a contract,” he added.
“It is a great opportunity for me as I didn’t get a lot of playing time.”
