Transfer: Milan and Lazio in battle for prodigy Vignato

Lazio apparently has the edge over Milan in the battle for Emanuel Vignato’s signature.

According to Calciomercato.com, the two giants of Italian football are locked in a battle for the 18-year-old winger.

The youngster has been at Chievo, through the youth academy. making his debut in 2017 for Chievo Verona in the senior team.

At youth international level, he has represented both Brazil and Italy. at U17 he played for both countries before at U18 and U19 deciding he was going to stick with the Azzurri.

It is understood that Chievo wants eight million Euros for the player. He has a contract that expires next year.

His highly regarded as one of the promising talents of Italian football. He can play in both the midfield and as an out and out winger too.

He has been scouted by both Sevilla and Barcelona. But Lazio and Milan have given the strongest indication that they are willing to take the youngster off Chievo’s hands.

Serie A giants Lazio are now close to signing Chievo Verona midfielder Emanuel Vignato.

He has limited experience in Italy’s top flight. But has thrived in the lower divisions of senior Italian football, as well as in the youth leagues.

Before his step up to the senior level, he made 78 appearances between lower divisions and youth, scoring 33 goals and having 5 assists.

In 12 games in Serie A, he has scored only once.

Whoever acquires his services, is buying the potential they have seen, rather than a proven top-level talent.

Emanuel Vignato is apparently a name to look out for in the future of Italian football. AC Milan and Lazio apparently think he is worth fighting over.
