Renato Sanches has completed his transfer from Bayern Munich to Lille.

As we brought you earlier at Ronaldo.com, there were talks between the two clubs of a potential move.

Bayern has had enough of the player, that has failed to produce the goods in his time at the club.

After being given the opportunity to prove himself at the start of this season.

Sanches set himself on a collision course with the club after complaining he was not getting enough opportunities at Bayern Munich.

This apparently was the last straw for the club, especially sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic.

According to Goal.com, the deal is apparently worth 25 million Euros.

The player arrived in Lille earlier for his medical.

He was later officially confirmed as a Lille player and the clubs made the appropriate announcements.

In a statement from Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge

He said:

“Renato Sanches asked us for the transfer because he wanted to join a club where he plays regularly.”

“Unfortunately, we could not guarantee him this at Bayern.”

“Match practice is also important for him because he wants to keep his place in the Portuguese national team for EURO 2020.”

“I would like to thank Renato for his achievements and wish him all the best for his future on behalf of FC Bayern.”

Sanches will hope he can rediscover the form, that made Bayern fight so hard to secure his services back in 2016

Still only 22 years of age, he hs a bright future ahead of him and for Lille, this is a great investment.

This a player that can not only help them replace others they have sold but also turn them a tidy profit if he comes good over the next couple of seasons.

The Bavarian giants also issued a tribute video and message of thanks and good luck via their social media channels.
