The Aston Villa revolution just keeps on going. They have signed their 12th player of the window.

When Aston Villa secured their promotion back into the Premier League, there was one objective. Staying there!

According to beIN Sports, the Premier League new boys have confirmed their 12th signing.

Midfielder Marvelous Nakamba. He arrives from Club Brugge for a reported fee of 11 million pounds.

The 25-year-old joins on the same day as signing number 11. He has signed a five year deal with Villa.

Goalkeeper Tom Heaton arrived from Burnley for a fee rumoured to be 9 million pounds.

These two new arrivals take the West Midland clubs spending to £134m.

Coach Dean Smith said:

“Marvelous fits the criteria of the type of player we were looking for.”

“He’s very mobile, he’s very good in possession and he will fit in with our style of play.”

Nakamba played for two years with Club Brugge. This was preceded by a three-season stint with Vitesse in the Dutch first division.

He arrived in Europe in 2012 and played with Nancy of France.

A Zimbabwe international, he has represented his home nation once. At Africa Cup of Nations this year.

Villa has bought an entire team and some already. With one week still to go in the transfer window. I would not rule out them conducting more business just yet.

Their signings so far are:

Jota, Wesley, Kortney Hause, Matt Targett, Tyrone Mings, Ezri Konsa, Bjorn Engels, Anwar El Ghazi, Trezeguet, Douglas Luiz, Heaton and now Nakamba.
