Edinson Cavani is one of the most prolific strikers in this decade, having scored plenty of goals both for Napoli and for Paris Saint-Germain.

Cavani became an all-time top goalscorer for PSG with 195 goals to his name.

He’s an absolute fan-favorite as they chant the Uruguayan’s name every time he runs onto the pitch.

However, his time in France looks to be coming to an end.

Tuchel openly admitted he regrets Cavani cannot play more, but that there’s no solution on the horizon.

“We talked with Edinson and discussed it. We both know that it is very difficult for him,” he said, according to El Pais.

“What happens to me is very sad. We play many games with three strikers with a nine in the middle.

“I’m sad because I don’t have a solution for Cavani right now. “

Tuchel continued by expressing his grief:

“He does not deserve it, Edinson is very professional and is appreciated in the locker room.

“Cavani gives positivity to the team, but does not play much in this period.”

Many rumors connected Cavani to an MLS move. With the recent turn of events, that’s largely looking like the realistic outcome of the situation for the striker.
