Thomas Tuchel believes that Neymar is ready to return better than ever and certainly calmer after his recent red card.

Following PSG’s defeat to Dortmund in the Champions League, the Parisians played and beat Bordeaux. However, this saw an infuriated and agitated Neymar eventually given his marching orders.

Having served his one-match suspension, his manager Thomas Tuchel is now ready to recall the Brazilian superstar.

Paris are preparing to face Lyon in the Semi-finals of the Coupe de France, and Tuchel is planning on recalling Neymar.

Speaking to L’Equipe the PSG boss is preparing to play what he considers a Neymar who is “ready.”

He said:

“He [Neymar] is calmer now.”

“I have a feeling that he is calmer.”

“He’s getting ready for tomorrow’s game, he’s going to play, it’s necessary.”

“The most important thing is that he plays, that he is with us in this decisive phase. I am happy to play with him in Lyon.”

“I have the feeling that he is really ready, that he is calmer, more confident, and that he has found his rhythm.”

Tuchel will be hoping his troubled star can rediscover some of his most recent best form. Form that saw him named France’s player of the month in January.
